Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Antinoe dated AD 395 – 642

Knitted wool, probably upper part of a sock, in green. There are approximately three stitches by five rows per centimetre. Border along one side with rib effect. Remainder is plain, there are approximately three rows per centimetre.
