Ancient Egyptian mummified Ibis from Abydos dated 30 BC – AD 395

A mummifired ibis wrapped in linen. The end where the feet are is rounded, it then rises up to the head. The linen wrapping creates a pattern of black and brown. Note that leg bones (one showing healed break) are stored separately.
