Ancient Egyptian body sherd from Deir el Bahari dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Faience sherd, possibly from a dish. Blue glaze remains on both side. The sherd appears to come from the the edge of the base or the carinated part of a vessel, since there is a slight angular bend in the middle of the sherd. There is a dark blue black pattern of lotus flowers or buds on stems on the inner surface and black lines, probably lotus petal edges, on the outer surface.
