Ancient Egyptian copper dome from Oxyrhynchus dated 30 BC – AD 395

Copper alloy dome shaped fragment, with an oval hole slightly off centre at the top. The dome has a flat rim projecting from its base, clipped into a square shape, with the corners absent. Striations visible on the exterior of the dome. a componant of something else, as it is, or possibly a fragment.
