Ancient Egyptian spoon from Oxyrhynchus dated 30 BC – AD 395

Copper alloy spoon. Cylindrical handle, with a small globular shaped knob at the top, and a long narrow bowl at the base. The handle widens a little before it reaches the bowl, and then narrows again. Small hole through the centre of the spoon bowl, probably modern. Slight damage to the tip of the spoon bowl.
