Ancient Egyptian oil lamp from Hierakleopolis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Small pottery oil lamp with a orange and red slip. Circular reservoir with a ring base, and large central hole in the top, chipped to one side. Projecting spout with a smaller hole at the tip. Blackened around this hole. Surface is pitted. In modern ink on the bottom is written E.E.F. 1904.
