Ancient Egyptian stela fragment of Min Horus and Hathor from Deir el Bahari dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Fragment of the upper part of a small round topped stela carved in shallow raised relief with incised inscriptions. At top is part of symbol of Horus of Behdet, winged sun disk with uraei and below parts of headdresses of two deities facing each other, horns and sun disk of Hathor on right and tall plumes and flat crown of Min on left. Before the headdresses of the figures in two vertical columns are the incised inscriptions Hr-Mnw Gbtyw – Min-Horus of Koptos / Hwt-Hr nb(t) ‘Iwnt – Hathor, lady of Dendereh.
