Ancient Egyptian inlay fragment from Deir el Bahari dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Small piece of dark and light blue glazed faience. Appears to be part of a strip of faience probably used as an inlay. Slightly curved. Two of the edges are probably part of the original finished edges. The decoration on the outer surface consists of part of two diamonds in light blue, joined corner to corner, so that they rest on a corner, gives a wavy effect. Background is dark blue.
