Ancient Egyptian ankh fragment from Abydos dated 1295 – 1186 BC

A blue faience Ankh fragment. One arm and part of the stem remain. There is black painted decoration on the arm and stem, and the cartouche of Ramesses II painted on the stem. It was possibly given as a votive offering, or used in events inside the temple.
