Ancient Egyptian rim sherd from Abydos dated 3000 – 2890 BC

Large sherd preserving part of rolled rim and body of storage jar with raised ridge around shoulder. Reddish brown ware, grey core and cream slip on interior and exterior, worn on exterior. With incised potmark below shoulder on body. Pot mark is a triangle with the point facing down with a T on the top edge. There is also a vertical line with 3 diagonal lines facing downwards from the top.
