Ancient Egyptian model bags yoke from Abydos dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Three copper alloy minature bags, originally capable of suspension from a copper alloy minature yoke and two hooks. Proably for the use of Shabti figures in the afterlife (or similar). 1 and 2- bags, fragmentary around the mouth. 3- near perfect retaining some of the fine copper loops used for suspension from the yoke hooks. 4- yoke. 5 and 6- yoke hooks, one still attached to the yoke.
