Ancient Egyptian jar from Abydos dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Orange pottery jar with a squat ovaloid body and a ring base. A flared neck leads to a flat projecting rim. Decorated with brown painted lines around the circumference of the neck and downwards on the body. Brown spots on rim. Part of body flaked off.
