Ancient Egyptian jar from Abydos dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Small orange and buff pottery jar with a squat ovaloid body and a slightly flat base. A straight neck flares slightly at the top to a flat projecting rim. Decorated with brown painted lines around the circumference of the neck and the middle of the body. Brown spots on the rim and on the body.
