Ancient Egyptian head rest piece from Abydos dated 1773 – after 1650 BC

Wooden head rest for a mummy. One of three pieces.
Biscuit piece which connects the base with the curved piece. Rectangular, slightly wider and thicker at one end. Two holes through piece, through which dowels would be inserted to attach the head rest together.
