Ancient Egyptian dried fruit from Hierakleopolis

Dried Doum Palm Nut, possibly Hyphaene thebaica. The nut is loose within the outer flesh as the flesh has dried and retracted. There is a hole in one side of the flesh, through which the nut can be seen. Oval in shape. The exterior flesh appears very rough and there is a small raised point at one end.
