Ancient Egyptian metal fragment from Naukratis dated 600 – 500 BC Piece of copper alloy rod, which has been formed into a loop, with the two ends running side by side, one sticking at an angle to the other. Badly corroded. Perhaps part of an object, or possibly waste metal or metal awaiting use.
