Ancient Egyptian metal fragment from Naukratis dated 600 – 500 BC Roughly rectangular fragment of iron, perhaps from a chisel or other tool, or the shaft of a large nail. Slightly wider at one end than the other. Badly corroded. White discolouration at one end.
