Piece of cream pottery, probably from a pilgrim flask. One edge has part of a plain circle on it, which is then surrounded by bands of incised decoration, running in concentric circles around it. The bands start with variations of short vertical as infill, and then a wavy line, and then a row of rosettes, and then perhaps a band of lotus blossom. There is a greenish tinge to this outer surface of the pottery, and some blackening at the edge of the sherd.
