Ancient Egyptian jar from Tanis dated 30 BC – AD 395 Red pottery jar with a handle and spout. Squat, ovaloid body with a flat base. Long narrowing neck, flared, modelled rim. Spout formed at one side of rim, handle on opposite side from below rim to edge of body. Fragment missing from rim.
