Egyptian alabaster jar, with a curved bottom and narrow neck leading to the remains of a flat projecting rim. Small lumps in the stone on either side act as handles. The bottom part of the vessel has become detached, and then been in modern times. However the bottom portion is whiter and more friable than the top portion, which seems to indicate that it is either in a state of decomposition or was not the original base to this vase. There is a piece missing out of this section.
