Ancient Egyptian amulet from Napata dated 750 – 500 BC A blue felspar scarab with the elytra, pronotum and clypheus marked on the upper surface, but plain on the base. Hole through its length for suspension. Mounted in a silver band, which encircles the sides of the scarab.
