Ancient Egyptian amulet from Saqqara dated 700 – 200 BC

Blue faience papyrus sceptre amulet, broken in two, near to the top of the sceptre. Depicted with a spreading head with a hole for suspension through a raised section on the top of it. Incised lines represent binding just below the head, perhaps a papyrus column is envisaged. Modern glue is present on the broken edges.
