Ancient Egyptian ancestor bust figure from Abydos dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Crude limestone figure, probably an ancestor bust, painted in yellow and black. Head carved with basic features and long black wig, body represented as a roughly triangular block, faint incisions for arms but no legs shown. The figure stands on its flat base.
