Ancient Egyptian ankh fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Blue faience oblong fragment, with eliptical cross section. Broken off at one end and diagonally slanted at the other. Blue glazed except for the break, and the diagonal side, which is black. Five fine black parallel bands drawn around the piece above the black end. Possibly a handle to a sistra or mirror. But the slanted side seems intentional, and therefore it may be one of the arms of an Ankh model.
