Ancient Egyptian Anubis statue dated 1069 – 664 BC

Carved wooden statue of Anubis as a crouching jackal. Painted black with a red collar. White eyes and eyebrows. Funerary, perhaps on a pedestal or from the top of a shabti box. Made in two pieces, with a long tail, now broken off. Head broken off and repaired. Left ear broken off an missing.
