Ancient Egyptian bead from Abydos dated 664 – 332 BC

Rectangular blue faience bead. Probably used to space rows in a necklace or collar. Two holes run through the width of the piece, now blocked possibly with dirt. The outer surface is decorated with three bright green circles or possibly the edges a bigger decoration. The sides are covered in a muddy discolouration making it difficult to ascertain if they are broken or not. The edges seem to narrow in two places on opposite sides.
