Ancient Egyptian blue pigment fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Piece of blue pigment, used for painting etc. Possibly traces of yellow on the outer surface, and beige mud. Two metal pins are fixed into it, and a piece of modern paper adheres to it. Both probably part of early twentieth century display techniques.
