Ancient Egyptian body sherd from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Orange or buff coloured ware, with a red slip applied to the exterior which is now patchy. Incised pot mark or decoration on the inside of the sherd. Oval with a line running longitudinally through it, and which sticks out from one end, overall similar to a leaf shape.
