Ancient Egyptian body sherd from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Body sherd from an orange buff pottery vessel, originally with a lighter surface slip. Thick walled. Perhaps Nile Silt. Incised design on outer surface: four parallel lines, joined to one line at right angles, forming a box effect, on top of this box are futher incised lines, and possibly an intentional incised disc shape (may be damage, as it falls along the edge of the sherd.)
