Longitudinal section from a bone cylinder, decorated on the polished outer surface with two bands of four incised lines running around the top and bottom of the cylinder. Between these are groups of two incised concentric circles, parts of 12 are visible. They appear to be arranged in two slanting lines, spreading towards the outer edges of the fragment, except for two which fall in between the two lines. The incised lines may have been filled with a black paste, or it is possible that is the remains of mud from the site. The inner surface is rougher, with no decoration. At one end of the fragment, the outer face of the cylinder is stepped inwards, to allow a fitment of some kind and at the opposite edge it is stepped on the inside edge. Possibly a fragment from furniture, a walking stick or a small vessel.
