Ancient Egyptian cartonnage fragment from Kafr Ammar Tarkhan dated 818 – 656 BC

Cartonnage pectoral in the shape of a floral collar. Decorated in red, yellow, black and white. Alternately bands of various designs. Starting with petal pendants, then a band of v shaped objects on their sides, then rosettes, then a double row of triangles, with points facing each other, then Heker frieze, then rosettes, then traingles perhaps to look like leaves, and finally a row of petal pendants. Between most of these bands are fine bands containing a wavy black line. Probably part of a cartonnage mummy case.
