Ancient Egyptian chert flake from Dandara dated 1550 – 1069 BC

A sickle chert, square ended. Edge trimmed only with a triangular section. The upper face shows longitudinal flake scars and a number of flake ridges, while the under face is plain bulbar surface from which bulb of percussion removed by the end trimming. One lateral margin.
