Ancient Egyptian chisel fragment from Armant dated 30 BC – AD 395

Iron chisel with the handle and blade made all in one piece. This is the roughly cylindrical handle and the top part of a flat rectangular blade. Part of the top of the handle has been removed for analysis by the excavaters in the 1930s.
