Ancient Egyptian coin mould from Oxyrhynchus dated 30 BC – AD 395

Pottery disc mould, with the two sides of a Billon tetradrachm of Constantius I impressed on either side. This coin could be from year four of his rain. Slight lip around either side, which is broken away in parts. Listed as a mould for making coins, but possibly a trial run of the stamp used to make valid coins. Fragment of modern paper and glue adheres to one side of the disc.
