Ancient Egyptian cow figurine from Sesebi Upper Nubia dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Head of a pottery animal, nile silt fired to buff orange with grey core and painted red. Fairly crude, nostrils and mouth incised, no ears shown with groove on top of head probably for headdress or sundisk. Possibly a child’s toy, but likely connection with Hathor as a votive offering.
