Ancient Egyptian cow head from Deir el Bahari dated 1550 – 1295 BC

A pottery votive Hathor cow’s head with horns and sun disk crudely modelled in reddish brown pottery, coated with red slip or paint and with remains of white paint. Damage to neck, horns and face. Either an offering on its own or may have been an ornament on a pottery vessel.
