A beige pottery figurine fragment. Male head and upper body. His right arm is folded over his chest, the hand emerging clenched from the fold of the garment he is wearing, draped over the arm but producing a v neck. The left arm appears to have been by the figure’s side, although it is broken off at the elbow. It is also covered by the garment. The face seems elongated, though this may be due to a beard incorporated with it, the surface quality makes it difficult to tell. Nose, mouth and eye are modelled, though there is damage to the nose tip, and the general surface is worn. Head appears to have been framed by hair, perhaps a bag wig. The top of the wig is missing, and the sides are reduced. The back seems flat, probably the surface, although it may also be a surface created by a split from larger piece. T and a faint number written in modern pencil on the back.
