Ancient Egyptian fossil wood fragments from Faiyum dated 332 BC – AD 395

Two joining fragments of fossil wood. Cylindrical piece, missing a strip from part of the exterior edge, and now broken in two parts. Light yellow and beige in colour and slightly friable. Crack runs part way down the larger of the two pieces.
