Ancient Egyptian frog amulet from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC Violet blue frit or faience sitting frog amulet with red eyes. Frog is seated on an oval plinth which has the hieroglyphic sign ‘Nfr’ moulded into the bottom. A hole for suspension runs longitudinally through the base.
