Ancient Egyptian hair pin from Hawara dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Bone hair pin. Cylindrical shaft tapering to a point. The head of the pin has five regular turned lines close together and then the pin narrows, from which it spreads out again into an elongated spherical head. Small area of brown discolouration the middle of the pin.
