Ancient Egyptian hair pin from Hawara dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Bone hair pin. Cylindrical shaft tapering to a point which has broken off. The head of the pin has 15mm of decoration, in the form of five irregular turned bands, and a notched cross in the top of the pin head.
