Ancient Egyptian hair pin from Oxyrhynchus dated 30 BC – AD 395

Copper alloy rod, probably a hair pin. Flattened ball shaped head, with a tapering cylindrical shaft. Broken at tip. Surface has flaked off in the past, and perhaps been consolidated.
