Ancient Egyptian inlay fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Faience inlay fragment, from an inlay of a lotus flower. Triangular shaped, with closed lotus flower moulded and coloured onto the upper surface. Green leaves fall either side of the white petals which are blue toward their tips. The back is white and has a slight lip near the edge, into the edge of which two small holes have been drilled, presumably for attachment to something else, maybe therefore not a tile inlay.
