Ancient Egyptian inlay fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Wedge shaped section of a blue faience disc, glazed on all sides, excepting breaks and with a moulded decoration on the upper surface of overlapping triangle, which may be a lotus flower motif. Possibly an inlay piece, or part of a Menat Counterpoise or a foot fragment from a fine vessel.
