Ancient Egyptian inlay piece from Oxyrhynchus dated 332 – 30 BC

Square piece of bone, with two concentric circles incised on one side, around a central dot. Possible traces of black paste in the incised lines, or mud from the site. Face with the incised decoration shows traces of pitting from the bone. An inlay piece, or perhaps more likely a gaming piece.
