Ancient Egyptian jar from Abydos dated 1550 – 1295 BC A red pottery ovaloid jar with a slightly flat base and flared rounded rim. There are areas of black, probably from firing. There are two small flat rounded handles. The neck was in four pieces and has been reattached.
