Ancient Egyptian jar from Abydos dated 1550 – 1295 BC Small red brown pottery jar with a spherical body and a rounded base. Long, flared neck with an unmodelled rim. A handle is attached from the top of the body to halfway up the neck. Small lump on one side of body.
