Ancient Egyptian jar from Abydos El Arabah dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Orange coloured pottery jar. Ellipsoid body with slightly flat base. The neck is straight and rim flared and rounded. The rim is decorated with painted lines in brown. There are two lines around the neck and two lines around the centre where the body bulges out.
