Ancient Egyptian jar from Beni Hasan dated 2055 – 1985 BC

Pottery jar with an ovaloid body. Rounded base, also slightly pointed. Neck flared with pointed rim. Red brown pottery. Several slight grooves around the circumference of the pot on the top half. Rim chipped.
