Pottery globular jar, with raised slightly flaired rim which widens out to a squat round body. Two small curved handles link the rim edge to the body of the pot. Fine circluar incisions are to be found going around the body of the pot from about a third of the way down the pot. Red ware possibly once with a creamy slip, traces of which survive. A small chip to the rim, and blackening to most of the top part of the jar, probably from a fire.
